Mild Background Diabetic Retinopathy

A 59 year old male diagnosed with diabetes mellitus for 11 years. Visual acuity 20/25 in both eyes; dilated anterior segment examination and intraocular pressure were within normal limits while fundus exam disclosed mild diabetic retinopathy consisting of some small retinal hemorrhages and microaneurysms.
